Hey!

Sooo... I've been a bit quiet lately and haven're really posted much about my modelling stuff and anything about my game. Also my Master Reboot blog has lost all its pictures so I don't update it any more.

Update on what I'm up to...
Visited Eurogame (was there Thursday and Friday) which was kool, got some nice freebies and played lots of games as well as watch Tom play Warface loads to collect raffle tickets to get into the final to win a iPad. Also met the Producer of Warface and the new community guy for Crytek who were both awesome and reminds me how awesome the people are at Crytek Frankfurt (I really miss visiting).  I have bought 2 games so far after playing or seeing them at the expo. One is The Room, a puzzle game on ios (check it out) and the other is Prison Architect, a cute little tycoon game where you make and look after a prison. It's only in Alpha stages, but it is awesome and I paid out to have my name as a prisoner XD.

I have a new job in Wales Interactive now where they're planning on releasing my game! So I have to spend the next month adding more levels and tweaking it till its at a good enough level to release, so watch this space!

Master Reboot Trailer

Been a bit quiet lately, have finished most of the TF2 dispenser but haven't had time to texture it. Had a show on the 3rd that went better than I thought, got to show the whole demo of Master Reboot.

Here's a trailer of my game - Directed by me - Edited by Gareth Meyrick aka GAZArts.

Also found out that Wales Interactive wants to finish my game and release it. XD So watch this space!!

Team Fortress 2 Dispenser

Wanted to do something for myself today, not for my Masters or the Bronx project. I've been wanting to do some Team Fortress 2 modelling for a while so to start off I decided to make a dispenser as one of my favourite classes is Engineer (Pyro comes first though!).
Here's a work in progress render, still got a few things to touch up but it should be finished soon. I've been working on it since 11am-12pm so it's taken me 4-5 hours to get this far (while watching My Little Pony, don't ask :P).

Subway line work in progress.

Just a quick update on what I've been up to. Been trying to get the right texture for the subway line and modelling some more assets like street lights, fire hydrant, road pieces etc.

Variation and less orange...

Bronx Project update

After fixing my game some more today I sorted out the Bronx models some more and started to get them textured. I also have the wire fence on the same texture (not in picture) and I'm starting to the subway train and train line tomorrow.

Combombo

Combombo a awesome little app I help test (Rich Morgan is the Art lead on this game, he's the guy that's working with me on the Bronx project XD)

^ This video is epic!!

The more Red Orbs you have on-screen, the more points you can potentially earn! Just how many Red Orbs can you handle before you hit the COMBO! button and bank those juicy points? New Masters Project

My game is nearly finished (will keep tweaking it) and after a talk with Rich and Dai, I've decide to do another short project to learn Unity with Rich Morgan. This will consist of a environment that can be walked around and look good.
We've decided to base the level on the South Bronx in the 70s/80s.

Here's a work in progress of a tower block I'm working on. I'll be adding some more detail and texturing it soon.

Tower Blocks

Thought I'd try something new today, created 2 tower blocks in 3 hours. Want to work on the Sci fi one a bit more though (the white one). Trying to speed up my texturing as that's my weak point.

Some new models.

Two of my latest models I've added to my portfolio.

Long needed update..

So I've been uber quiet on here for over a year now. Since then I've made 2 other blogs which I should link here.

http://master-reboot.blogspot.com/ Master Reboot is my Masters game project I'm working on so I can learn UDK and have a kool point and click adventure game that's my own. :)

http://alice-attraction.blogspot.co.uk/ This blog is showing what I'm doing on the Alice project, where I'm helping to bring Alice in Wonderland to Llandudno. It's a exciting project and my teapot design is hopefully being used as part of the trail that's being planned there. Also I'm doing designs for other ideas too. All exciting stuff. :)

Will hopefully be updating this with some much needed models soon that I'm going to work on to keep my modelling skills up and when I need a break from UDK..
