Just a little update..

Been busy lately with modelling and enjoying what sun we've had and watching Dr Who (season 5, gotta love Matt as the Doctor ;) ) - I'm now a member of GamesLab Wales which is part of University of Glamorgan. They're trying to get Games companies to open up in Wales and they help them out. Also they give people the chance to make their own game, which is what me and a few others will be going for soon. At the moment doing some modelling for them for another company, which is awesome because I'll have my first model out there in a game (I've done 2d backgrounds and QA testing so far). Really exciting. :D

Anyway, will try and get some of my own work sorted and posted up here soon.

Back to the props.

Since the Ork is taking too long to finish since I'm not really a character artist, I've decided to go back to the props. Really want to finish texturing the table and chairs and start modelling some other props to build up my portfolio.

Will probably update this soon with some more of the textured tables and chairs. Hoping to get them ALL finished today!

Edit - All textures finished.. Woop! Time for the next  batch of props and to sort these tables into model sheets. :)

Waaagh!

Didn't get much done today, BUT I got him posed a bit better and added a few bits of detail. Still needs ALOT of work. Just thought I'd put a update up. This is taking alot longer than I expected, but it's still fun and learning lots about posing characters and stuffs. I just keep telling myself that if I can model the Disney Castle, I can model a Ork! Waaaaagghhh!!!
Tried working on the hand but they don't seem to be working, I gonna try again but if it fails, I not sure I gonna keep on with this project as I really need to get some props sorted out for my portfolio to help me get a job.

Orky power!

Something I've been wanting to do for a while, create a Warhammer 40k Ork, well any Warhammer Ork in CG. Now I have a reason to do it. Anyway.. here be a work in progress of my lovely Orky. I've been working on this from 10:30am till 5:30pm today so far. I have a workshop to teach tomorrow but hopefully I'll have some time to do some more on him after.

Everything is mirrored currently but when I've finished with the detail and the body I'll be giving him a different arm (with a weapon), different leg and some changes to the detail.. So watch this space! :) Waaagh!

Site went boom so I made a blogger!

This is how I feel right now about my website. I can't use my domain name since it needs to be re-paid for and the server I bought it from aren't sending me a quote to repay for my website.
Anyway welcome to my brand spanking new blog. I'll be filling this with lots of perty pictures of my latest work.
Please visit my deviantArt to see all my really nice works, I will be making a blog post on my Haunted Manor and Disney Castle (and some others) as they're my favorite pieces of work
If you're new to reading my blog, here is a few pictures (beware - picture heavy from here on)
